Pennsylvania player wins six-figure prize at Giant Eagle

$180K winning Fast Play ticket sold in Westmoreland County

New Kensington, PA — A Pennsylvania Lottery player is holding a Suite Winnings Fast Play ticket worth $180,566 after winning the progressive top prize at a grocery store in Westmoreland County on Wednesday.

The winning ticket was sold at Giant Eagle, located at 200 Tarentum Bridge Road in New Kensington. As a result, the retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the prize-winning ticket, lottery officials confirmed Thursday.

Suite Winnings is a $10 Fast Play game featuring progressive top prizes that begin at $125,000 and increase with each ticket sold until a top prize is won. Unlike scratch-offs, Fast Play tickets print on demand from terminals or self-service machines and can be played instantly.

The winning ticket from the November 5 purchase has not yet been claimed. The Pennsylvania Lottery urges the ticket holder to sign the back of the ticket and contact lottery officials. All Fast Play prizes must be claimed within one year of the ticket’s purchase date.

Prizes over $5,000 are subject to applicable federal and state tax withholding. Players can check tickets at any lottery retailer, using the official PA Lottery app, or online at palottery.com.
