A Northampton County convenience store sold a ticket that matched all five Double Play numbers to land a half-million-dollar prize

NAZARETH, Pa. — A Pennsylvania Lottery player is holding a ticket worth $500K after matching all five numbers in the Powerball Double Play drawing, making a Northampton County convenience store the site of one of the state’s biggest lottery wins of the weekend.

The Pennsylvania Lottery announced that a Powerball with Double Play ticket worth $500,000 was sold at Broad Street Mini Mart, located at 7 South Broad St. in Nazareth Borough.

The winning ticket matched all five Double Play numbers drawn on Saturday: 3, 18, 26, 52 and 54. The ticket did not match the Double Play Powerball number 8.

Broad Street Mini Mart will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Lottery officials noted that winners are not known until tickets are claimed and validated.

Powerball Double Play is an optional feature that gives players a second drawing using the same numbers for an additional $1 per play. The Double Play drawing is conducted after each Powerball drawing and offers top prizes of up to $10M.

The winning ticket remains unclaimed.

The next Powerball jackpot is estimated at $225M, with a cash option of approximately $100.3M.
