Ten New Jersey Lottery players won prizes of at least $10K as a South Amboy ticket claimed the week’s biggest prize

TRENTON, N.J. — A Jersey Cash 5 ticket worth $439,345 led a string of big wins across New Jersey last week, with 10 players claiming lottery prizes of at least $10,000 in drawings and Scratch-Off games sold from Cape May to Hudson County.

The New Jersey Lottery announced that between June 15 and June 21, players across the state collected prizes ranging from $10,000 to $439,345.

The week’s biggest winner came in the June 15 Jersey Cash 5 drawing, when a ticket sold at Applegreen Cheesequake, located at Mile Post 124 on the Garden State Parkway in South Amboy, won a jackpot of $439,345.

The second-largest prize was a $250,000 winning $250,000 Crossword Scratch-Off ticket sold June 18 at Wawa #973, 421 Whitehorse Pike South in Lindenwold.

Other major winning tickets included:

  • A $50,000 Powerball ticket sold June 15 at ACME #890 in Cape May Court House.
  • A $20,000 Crossword ticket sold June 15 at Palm Grove Groceries in Union City.
  • A $25,000 Crossword Xtreme ticket sold June 18 at Seabra Foods XII in Newark.
  • A $30,000 Mega Millions ticket sold June 19 at Park Deli & Grill in Edison.
  • A $50,000 Powerball ticket sold June 20 at ShopRite of Hillsborough.
  • A $25,000 Crossword Xtreme ticket sold June 20 at Beverage Mart in Salem.
  • A $10,000 winning $1,000,000 Spectacular Scratch-Off ticket sold June 20 at ShopRite #613 in Matawan.
  • A $50,000 Super Crossword ticket sold June 21 at Valdez Supermarket in Plainfield.

Lottery officials also reminded players to check old tickets after noting that an unclaimed Jersey Cash 5 ticket worth $342,777 is scheduled to expire on July 19. The ticket was purchased at Quick Chek #63 in Ringoes in Hunterdon County.

The New Jersey Lottery said players have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes before tickets expire.
