Teenager Shot in Parkside, West Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A 15-year-old boy was shot in the Parkside neighborhood of West Philadelphia early Sunday.

The incident, as detailed by the Philadelphia Police Department, occurred at approximately 3:15 a.m. on the 1200 block of N. 50th Street.

The teenager sustained two gunshot wounds to his right ankle. He was later transported to a hospital where he remains in stable condition.

Evidence from the crime scene includes a single shell casing. As of now, the Philadelphia Police Department has not made any arrests, and the motive behind the shooting remains undetermined.

An investigation into the incident continues.
