BRONX, N.Y. — A winning TAKE 5 ticket sold at a Bronx liquor store matched all five numbers in Friday evening’s drawing, making the borough home to the latest top-prize winner in the New York Lottery game.
The New York Lottery announced that one top-prize winning ticket was sold for the June 19 TAKE 5 Evening drawing.
The winning ticket, worth $32,888, was purchased at HB Wines & Liquor, located at 1806 Cedar Ave. in the Bronx.
TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39, with drawings held twice daily and televised at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
Lottery officials said prizes from New York Lottery draw games may be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing.
The New York Lottery remains North America’s largest and most profitable lottery, contributing $3.6 billion during fiscal year 2024-2025 to benefit public schools throughout New York State.
