Brooklyn and Newburgh TAKE 5 tickets score evening wins

New York, NY – An evening TAKE 5 drawing spread lottery luck across two cities Monday after top prize tickets sold in Brooklyn and Newburgh each matched the winning numbers, delivering identical five figure payouts.

The New York Lottery said multiple top prize tickets were sold for the Feb. 9 TAKE 5 Evening drawing. One winning ticket worth $14,354 was purchased at Big Corner Deli Grocery, located at 2314 Strauss Street in Brooklyn.

Another ticket matching the same winning numbers was sold at Smokes 4 Less, located at 59 North Plank Road in Newburgh. That ticket also carried a prize of $14,354.

TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a pool of one through 39, with drawings held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Winning tickets of any amount may be claimed for up to one year from the date of the drawing.
