WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect accused of using a stolen credit card following a car break-in in Northeast Washington.

The incident began around 12:30 p.m. on February 15 at the intersection of 13th Street and North Carolina Avenue Northeast, where property was taken from a parked vehicle, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

Authorities said the victim’s credit card was later used fraudulently the same day in the 2700 block of Marion Barry Avenue Southeast.

Investigators released surveillance images showing the suspect using the stolen card and are urging anyone who recognizes the individual to come forward.
