Dave’s Hot Chicken is Coming to Freehold

Dave’s Hot Chicken fans, get ready to spice things up! The wildly popular Los Angeles-based chain, famous for its fiery Nashville-style chicken, is setting up shop in Freehold Township, making it the Shore’s second location. You’ll soon be able to satisfy those cravings for tender chicken with a serious kick, plus signature sliders and sides that fans can’t get enough of.

The new location is set to open in the second quarter of 2025 at Freehold Marketplace on West Main Street, so mark your calendars. This spot follows hot on the heels of Dave’s Hot Chicken’s first Shore location in Ocean Township, which opened its doors in December 2023. Given the enthusiastic reception that the Ocean Township location received, it seems Freehold’s foodies are in for a treat.

If you haven’t tried it yet, Dave’s Hot Chicken is all about juicy, crispy chicken with customizable heat levels ranging from “No Spice” to the scorchingly intense “Reaper.” The menu keeps it simple but addictive, with just tenders, sliders, fries, and mac and cheese – all with a side of Dave’s iconic comeback sauce.
