Sad News for the Jersey Shore as Beachfront Bar Closes

After decades of serving up beachfront vibes and fantastic food, Mister C’s Beach Bistro in Allenhurst has officially closed its doors as of October 20. The beloved restaurant, which originally opened in Deal before making its home in Allenhurst, ended its journey as owners Karen Marzulli and Chic Perrotto wrapped up their lease with the borough.

But fans of Mister C’s shouldn’t be too heartbroken – Marzulli insists this was a well-anticipated goodbye. “It’s all good,” she said, explaining that this wasn’t a sad or sudden closure. In fact, the couple had known about the end date for a full decade, giving them plenty of time to plan for a graceful exit.

And here’s a silver lining for beachside foodies: there’s a good chance another restaurant will step in to fill the spot. The borough has already opened bids for a new tenant, with the window for proposals lasting through early November. So, if all goes well, the iconic oceanfront space could be serving up new flavors and sunsets soon enough.

Here’s hoping the next chapter at this picturesque location brings something just as memorable to Allenhurst’s shorefront!
