Wall Township EMS crews immediately began lifesaving treatment on the dog before rushing him to Red Bank Animal Hospital for emergency care.

Team effort credited for recovery

Veterinary staff at Red Bank Animal Hospital continued oxygen and IV care through the night, stabilizing Luca’s condition. Emergency officials later confirmed the dog’s vital signs had returned to normal and that he was resting comfortably under observation.

Authorities have not yet released the cause of the fire, which remains under investigation by local fire officials.
