BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD – The Baltimore County Police Department has announced the reopening of all lanes on the outer loop of Interstate 695 at Liberty Road, following a temporary closure due to a fatal motor vehicle crash.

Due to the nature of the circumstances involved, the incident, which prompted the shutdown of I-695 Outer Loop from Exit 18 to Interstate 795, is under investigation by members of the Independent Investigations Division of the Office of the Attorney General.

Motorists were advised of the closure as investigations commenced, leading to significant traffic disruptions. The Baltimore County Police Department has expressed gratitude for the public’s patience during the investigation and subsequent road closure as it caused major delays and inconveniences for travelers.
