Kansas City, MO – A woman managed to escape a sex trafficker after creating a fake email with the help of an AI program. The accused, Jacquan Wilson, 37, has been charged with multiple felonies including sex trafficking and domestic assault.
Wilson was arrested on September 27 following a report by the victim that she had met him on Facebook. They had reportedly moved to an extended-stay motel where Wilson forced her into prostitution and committed acts of violence against her.
The woman disclosed that Wilson held a knife to her child’s throat while threatening her on FaceTime. Additionally, she said he insisted that she continue to engage in sexual acts after she had a miscarriage.
On September 26, the woman utilized an AI tool to fabricate a request for returning a rental car at the Kansas City International Airport. Upon arrival, she contacted police and family, who assisted in her rescue.
She was found with several injuries and was emotionally distressed during her interview with investigators. Wilson is currently in the Platte County Jail without bond.
