Laurel, MD – Tuesday — A brutal knife fight broke out in a busy shopping corridor off Laurel Fort Meade Road Tuesday afternoon, ending with one man stabbed in the torso and another under arrest as stunned bystanders called 911.
Officers arrived at the 3300 block of Laurel Fort Meade Road just after 2:30 p.m. to find two men still physically fighting in the street. Witnesses had reported one of them was armed with a knife. As police approached, one man dropped the weapon while the other, a 33-year-old, collapsed with a visible stab wound to his upper body.
