Pedestrian critically injured after being struck by vehicle

Bernards Township, NJ – A pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle on Friday night, resulting in critical injuries. The incident occurred at approximately 8:27 p.m. on Allen Road at the intersection of Vanderveer Drive.

A resident of Bedminster Township was driving a 2025 Toyota RAV4 westbound on Allen Road when the vehicle hit a 42-year-old female from Basking Ridge. The victim was reportedly utilizing a marked crosswalk while crossing from left to right in front of the driver.

Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital. The Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office has announced an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
