The ticket was sold at the Lorain Avenue store and yielded a cash prize that nets the winner approximately $14,400 after taxes.

The odds of winning the $20,000 prize on this particular ticket are 1 in 10,000.

As of Friday, the Ohio Lottery reports 255 prizes of $20,000 still unclaimed in the VIP Millions game, along with 29 remaining top prizes paying out $40,000 annually for 25 years. The overall odds of winning any prize in the game stand at 1 in 4.02.

The Ohio Lottery has been operating since 1974 and has since contributed more than $33 billion to education across the state. Charlie’s Beverage, located at 15803 Lorain Avenue, is among hundreds of retail outlets across Ohio offering scratch-off games, draw games, and other lottery products.

Winners are subject to federal and state withholding taxes at the time of their claim. The identity of the Cleveland winner has not been publicly disclosed.
