WEST HARTFORD, CT — A lucky lottery player has won a $50,000 top prize on the $50,000 Cashword game with a ticket purchased at Super Stop & Shop #2613 in West Hartford.

The winning ticket was confirmed on Dec. 27, and the Connecticut Lottery identified the retailer as the location where the life-changing prize was sold.

The $50,000 Cashword scratch-off offers players the chance to win prizes ranging from small amounts up to the $50,000 top prize.

Lottery officials encourage all players to check their tickets carefully to ensure no prize goes unclaimed.

The West Hartford retailer joins the growing list of Connecticut Lottery vendors responsible for selling major winning tickets.
