BALTIMORE, MD — A man and a woman were hospitalized Friday night after being shot in Baltimore’s Eastern District, police said.
Officers responded to the 1100 block of East North Avenue around 8:24 p.m. after a ShotSpotter alert. They found a 25-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to his body. Shortly after, a 23-year-old female victim was also located with a gunshot wound.
Both victims were transported to an area hospital, where they are listed in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing as police work to determine a motive and identify suspects.
