Brutal subway robbery spills into Bronx McDonald’s as suspects flee with backpack
Bronx, NY — A late-night subway encounter turned into a violent robbery that continued inside a fast-food restaurant, leaving a man assaulted and without his belongings.
The incident occurred around 11:50 p.m. April 19 on the northbound 6 train platform at Hunts Point Avenue. Police said a 35-year-old man was approached by two individuals who punched him multiple times in the head.
Authorities said the victim left the station and entered a McDonald’s on Hunts Point Avenue, but the suspects followed him inside. The assault continued in the restaurant, where the attackers again struck the victim and forcibly took his backpack.
The suspects fled the scene and were last seen entering 900 Hoe Avenue.
No arrests have been made.

Police have released images of the suspects and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying them.
