NEW YORK, NY — Police are requesting public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an aggravated harassment hate crime that occurred on Friday evening in Brooklyn. The incident took place around 8:00 p.m. near Franklin Street and Noble Street, where an unknown individual was observed spray-painting swastikas on a building and several trees.

Authorities are treating the graffiti as a hate crime due to the nature of the symbols used. The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is leading the investigation as they seek to identify and apprehend the suspect.

The vandalism has caused concern in the local community, where residents are urging for a swift resolution to the investigation. The police have increased patrols in the area as they continue to gather evidence.
