Toms River invites families to lace up for DJ Skate nights and birthday parties at Winding River Ice Rink

TOMS RIVER, NJ – The Winding River Skating Center is kicking off the winter season with its popular DJ Skate nights, giving local families and kids a chance to glide under the lights every Friday and Saturday through March.

The Township of Toms River announced the schedule Friday, encouraging residents to enjoy music, skating, and food from the rink’s concession stand during the seasonal evening events.

Friday sessions run from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m., while Saturday skates take place from 8 to 10 p.m.

Admission is $15, and skate rentals are available for an additional $5.

Located at 1211 North Bay Avenue, the Winding River Ice Rink has long served as a favorite winter destination for residents across Ocean County. The township says the DJ Skate events are designed to offer a safe, fun environment for kids and teens to enjoy upbeat music while socializing on the ice.

In addition to public skating and DJ events, the rink offers skating party room rentals for birthdays and celebrations. The three-hour packages include a one-hour room rental and two hours of skating for up to 15 children, with pricing starting at $225.

The Winding River Skating Center requires any party food to be purchased through its on-site snack bar concessionaire.
