Police Searching for Chipped Tooth Gunman in Capitol Raceway Shooting

GAMBRILLS, MD – The Anne Arundel County Police Department is searching for a gunman that shot a couple at an event Friday night at the Capitol Raceway.

Police said at around 8:30 p.m.; officers responded to Capitol Raceway in Gambrills for a double shooting. Upon arrival, officers learned that an adult male and an adult female had been shot.

The suspect was described as a black male, with a purple shirt and a chipped tooth, by police.

“Both victims were transported to an area trauma center and are expected to survive their injuries. There was a large-scale event on location, yet detectives are unable to locate any witnesses,” police said.
