Man Shot Walking Down Monument Street in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD – A 20-year-old male was shot Friday afternoon in Baltimore in the area of Monument, police reported.

At approximately 3:42 p.m., Baltimore County officers responded to an area hospital where a shooting victim walked in seeking treatment.

“Upon arrival, officers located a 20-year-old male who had been shot in the left thigh. The victim’s injury is not life threatening,” police said. “The victim told Baltimore County officers that he had been shot somewhere on Monument Street in Baltimore City, but could not provide the exact location.”

Baltimore City police officers and detectives have assumed control of the investigation.
