Man Robbed While Parking Vehicle Inside His Garage in Laurel

LAUREL, MD – A man parking his car inside his garage was robbed at gun point by two black men on Saturday.

According to police, at approximately 3:30 a.m. officers responded for a report of a robbery of a citizen that occurred earlier in the 3600 block of Duckhorn Way in Laurel.

“The victim pulled his vehicle into his garage and was approached by two black males, one of whom placed a silver/chrome handgun to the victim’s head and demanded he hand over his jewelry and phone,” police reported. “The victim complied and the suspects ordered him to the ground and kicked him multiple times before fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim made contact with a friend who notified police approximately an hour after the robbery occurred.”

The victim declined medical attention and his phone was located and recovered in the 8200 block of Brock Ridge Road.
