Rockville City Police Investigate Multiple Gunfire Incidents

ROCKVILLE, MD – The Rockville City Police Department is investigating two incidents of gunfire that occurred on Sunday and Monday. On Sunday evening, officers responded to the 800 block of Monroe St in the vicinity of Dogwood Park, where they found evidence that a firearm had been discharged, but no injuries or property damage were reported.

The next day, at around 1:00 p.m., officers responded to the 13000 block of Midway Ave, where they found evidence that a firearm had been discharged and struck a nearby residence. No injuries have been reported in this incident either. Both incidents are under active investigation, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Rockville City Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit at 240-314-8938.
