Woman sought in NYC subway seat dispute, assault

NEW YORK, NY – A verbal dispute over a seat on a subway train in Queens led to an assault of a 59-year-old man. Now, police are asking the public to help identify a woman who allegedly committed the assault.

Police reported on Monday that the woman argued with a 59-year-old man over a subway seat when she pulled a taser and struck him in the face. The male victim was taken to SUNY Downstate Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

He was treated for a laceration to the face.
