Orlando police officers on administrative leave following an officer-involved shooting

ORLANDO, FL – Two Orlando police officers have been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of a Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigation into an officer-involved shooting that occurred on Sunday morning. The incident left three people dead, including the suspect.

The officers responded to a domestic violence incident at a residence on Grand Street around 2:25 a.m. When they arrived at the scene, they heard gunshots and called for backup. The suspect then emerged from the home and opened fire on the officers. The officers fired back, killing the suspect.

Inside the residence, investigators found three victims of the shooting, including two adults and one child. The adults were pronounced dead at the scene, and the child died at a local hospital. The police have not yet released any information about the victims.
