NYPD seeks suspect in Fulton Street stabbing

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department requests the public’s assistance in identifying the individual involved in an attempted robbery and stabbing incident in Brooklyn. The incident occurred on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at approximately 2:30 AM.

According to police reports, a 55-year-old male victim was walking at the corner of Fulton Street and Van Siclen Avenue when an unknown individual approached him, demanding his wallet. When the victim stated he had no wallet, the suspect stabbed him multiple times before fleeing southbound on Bradford Avenue.

The victim was transported to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in stable condition.
