He pointed the gun, smiled and laughed at her; NYPD says in latest subway incident

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is investigating an incident where a man armed with a gun pointed it at a woman aboard a southbound A train in Brooklyn this week.

On Wednesday, at approximately 1am, a 32-year-old female was aboard a southbound “A” train at the Pitkin Avenue and Van Siclen Avenue subway station. An unidentified male individual pointed a firearm at the victim while smiling and laughing. The male individual then exited the train at the Van Siclen station and fled to parts unknown.

There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.

The individual is described as a male, approximately 30 to 35 years old, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, white hoodie sweatshirt, blue jeans, white sneakers, and carrying a black backpack. Surveillance photos depicting the male individual have been released by the NYPD and are available at DCPI.
