Suspect arrested for murder of Bronx man

Bronx, NY – A 31-year-old male, Tavaree Hyatt, was arrested and charged on Monday in the Bronx.

Police charged 31-year-old Tavaree Hyatt with murder, manslaughter, and criminal possession of a weapon.

The charges stem from an incident on Tuesday, April 18, at approximately 10:53 p.m., when police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 4531 Hill Avenue in the Bronx, within the confines of the 47 Precinct.

Upon arrival, officers found a 32-year-old male, Aboubacar Drame, with gunshot wounds to the head and shoulder. The victim was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi by EMS, where he was pronounced deceased.
