Baltimore early morning Shooting Leaves 15-year-old injured

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating the shooting of a 15-year-old that happened in Southeast Baltimore early this morning.

Officers arrived at the 1300 Block of Ponca Street shortly before 2 am to investigate a report of a gun discharging. As police were investigating, they were alerted of a walk-in gunshot victim at a nearby hospital. At the hospital, police found a 15-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his left arm. The victim is expected to recover.

Police concluded through an initial investigation that the victim was shot at the 1100 Block of Ponca Street.
