Four Arrested and Illegal Items Seized in Atlantic City Crime Sting

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – The Atlantic City Police Department made four arrests and seized narcotics and a firearm during an operation focusing on locations that have been the subject of repeated complaints from residents and business owners.

The operation took place on Friday.

Detectives, supervised by Sergeant Garry Stowe, apprehended Khalil Watts, Kory Watts, Jamir Blunt, and Julio Sanchez III.

Khalil Watts was found in possession of a loaded firearm, Kory Watts discarded a bag containing over 15 grams of cocaine, Jamir Blunt was found in possession of 70 bags of heroin and two grams of cocaine, and Julio Sanchez III was found to be in possession of four grams of cocaine following a vehicle stop. All four suspects were arrested, with Khalil Watts remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility and the others released on a summons with a future court date.
