New York City, NY – The New York City Police Department is currently investigating a tragic incident that occurred on Tuesday at approximately 12:27 p.m. inside a residence located at 936 Rev James A Polite Avenue in the Bronx.
The incident resulted in the deaths of two individuals and the injury of another.
Police responded to a 911 call reporting shots fired at the location. Upon arrival, officers discovered three individuals with gunshot wounds. Regrettably, the first victim, a 28-year-old male, was found with a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced deceased at the scene by Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
The second victim, a 32-year-old male, also suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced deceased by EMS. The third victim, a 56-year-old male, sustained a graze wound to the neck and received immediate medical attention from EMS. He is currently in stable condition.
At this time, the identities of the deceased individuals are being withheld pending notification of their families.
No arrests have been made.
