Seasonably Mild Day at the Jersey Shore Wednesday

SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ – Wednesday will bring another cool and mild summer day to the Jersey SHore.

Expect sunny skies with a high temperature near 77 degrees. The wind will be from the north at 5 to 10 mph but will shift to the east in the afternoon.

It’s a great day to visit the Jersey Shore and explore all there is to explore, including fishing, crabbing, boardwalks, beaches and more.

Wednesday night will remain mostly clear conditions can be expected with a low temperature around 68 degrees Fahrenheit. The wind will be gentle from the southeast at approximately 5 mph.

On Thursday, it will be mostly sunny with a high temperature reaching about 78 degrees Fahrenheit. The wind will be from the south, ranging from 5 to 15 mph.

Coastal Flood Advisory in Effect

Affected Areas: Western Monmouth, Eastern Monmouth, Ocean, and Coastal Ocean.

There is a coastal flood advisory in effect until midnight EDT tonight. Up to half a foot of inundation above ground level is expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways. This could result in some flooding on vulnerable roads in coastal and bayside communities and along inland tidal waterways. Partial or full road closures are possible. Similar minor flooding is also possible during Wednesday evening’s high tide.
