NYPD Investigating Brooklyn Machete Attack

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking assistance in identifying an individual connected to an assault in Brooklyn, where a 22-year-old man was attacked with a machete.

On Tuesday, July 4, at approximately 10:55 PM, an unidentified individual approached the victim near Valentine Avenue and East 180 Street, striking him in the head and right hand with a machete. EMS promptly responded to the incident and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital. He is currently in serious but stable condition.
