Boonton Man Arrested for Lewd Images of Children

BOONTON TOWNSHIP, NJ – Morris County officials have confirmed the arrest of Jeff A. Fernandez, 25, of Boonton, linked to possession of Child Sex Abuse Material (CSAM).

Fernandez faces charges of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

The case originated from a CyberTip by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, leading to the discovery of over 1,000 CSAM items on Fernandez’s electronic device.

Following his arrest on Tuesday, Fernandez was released with conditions including monitoring and restricted internet access.

Prosecutor Carroll encourages anyone with related information to contact the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office at 973-285-6200.
