Police Make Arrest in East Tremont Robbery, Second Suspect At Large

NEW YORK CITY, NY – A burglary that took place on Sunday, July 9, around 7:37 pm at 2506 East Tremont Avenue is under investigation by the New York City Police Department.

Two individuals reportedly entered the address and stole a computer valued at $500, fleeing west on East Tremont Avenue.

On Friday, July 14, at 6:50 pm, James Copeland, a 59-year-old from the Bronx, was apprehended and charged in connection with the incident.

The charges against Copeland include burglary, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and trespass. The other suspect remains at large.

He is described as a male between 5’8” and 5’11” with a light complexion, medium build, and facial hair, last seen wearing casual clothing.
