Search Underway for Missing 76-Year-Old Man with Dementia

NEWARK, NJ – Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé is urging the public to assist in locating James Brown, 76, who went missing from Newark Beth Israel Medical Center on August 20.

Mr. Brown, who has dementia, was last seen at the hospital at 10:20 p.m. He is 5’9″ tall, weighs 150 pounds, and was dressed in a dark gray short sleeve shirt and blue jeans.

Those with information about James Brown’s location are asked to contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
