Brick Police Warn Visitors, Locals, Stay Out of the Ocean

by Charlie Dwyer

BRICK TOWNSHIP, NJ – The Brick Township Police Department is cautioning the public to avoid swimming in the ocean due to dangerous rip currents and the absence of lifeguards.

The warning comes in the wake of several water rescues in nearby communities over the past weekend, which were attributed to hazardous swimming conditions. The Brick Township Police Department also expressed gratitude to local lifeguards for their efforts in safeguarding the beaches during the summer season.
