CRANFORD, NJ – A transformer issue has led to a widespread power outage on the north side of Cranford, affecting traffic and closing a portion of Springfield Avenue.

The outage has disrupted traffic signals along Springfield Avenue, which is now closed between Holly Street and North Union Avenue. Local authorities have advised residents to avoid the area.
