SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY – Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney announced the indictment of Kevin Galloway, 53, of Holtsville, for leaving the scene of an accident that led to the death of Natividad Interiano, 48, of Huntington Station, in August.

According to authorities, Galloway was allegedly driving eastbound in his 2003 Chevrolet Suburban on the evening of August 27, when he struck Interiano at the intersection of East Pulaski Road in Huntington Station. Surveillance footage captured Galloway continuing to travel east after the incident. Interiano was pronounced dead at the scene.

Further footage showed Galloway stopping at a BP Gas Station on Park Avenue in Huntington Station, where he was seen inspecting his vehicle and pushing a dislodged headlight back into place before leaving. On August 28, Galloway replaced the hood, grill, and rims of his vehicle and allegedly scrapped the damaged parts for cash at Gershow Recycling in Medford on August 29. He was arrested on September 1.

Galloway was arraigned on September 15 before Supreme Court Justice Timothy P. Mazzei on one count of Leaving the Scene of an Incident Without Reporting, a Class D felony, and one count of Tampering with Physical Evidence, a Class E felony. Judge Mazzei set bail at $100,000 cash, $200,000 bond, or $1 million partially secured bond, and suspended Galloway’s license for the duration of the case.
