Deadly Shooting Outside Eden Bar Claims One Life

EDEN, N.C. – Early Sunday morning at around 1:00 a.m., a shooting outside The Rabbit Hole bar in Eden led to the death of 39-year-old Al Jamar Lindsey.

Upon arrival at the scene, Eden police found Lindsey in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Initial findings indicate that the shooting ensued following an altercation between two women.

Lindsey, uninvolved in the dispute, was approached by an unidentified individual who fired shots at close range. The shooter subsequently fled the scene and remains at large.

Residents living near The Rabbit Hole have expressed their distress and concern following the incident. The Eden police department is asking the public to provide any information related to the case.
