Woman’s Stolen Credit Cards Used by NYC Grand Larceny Suspect

New York City, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying an individual connected to a grand larceny incident. The case was reported in Staten Island on Saturday, September 30, 2023.

According to the police, at around 11:48 p.m., a 22-year-old female victim discovered her wallet had been stolen from her vehicle. Subsequently, multiple unauthorized purchases were made using her credit cards. The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion, short dark hair, and wearing eyeglasses.

Media depicting the individual is available through the Deputy Commissioner for Public Information (DCPI), aimed at aiding identification efforts.

In an official statement, the NYPD outlined the incident, saying, “It was reported to police that on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at approximately 2348 hours, a 22-year-old female victim realized her wallet was removed from her vehicle and multiple purchases were made without her knowledge.”
