Pennsylvania Teen Arrested in Wilmington on Multiple Gun Charges

WILMINGTON, DE -On Tuesday night, Delaware State Police arrested 18-year-old Logan Smith from Aston, Pennsylvania on several felony gun-related offenses.

Around 8:34 p.m., troopers were alerted to the Fairfax Shopping Center on Concord Pike following reports of multiple subjects possibly armed.

While the troopers did locate a group behind Dogtopia, many fled the scene.

However, Smith was detained on Thomas Road, found to be carrying a loaded handgun. Subsequent checks revealed Smith’s prior convictions, barring him from possessing firearms or ammunition.

He faces charges including possession of an assault weapon, carrying a concealed firearm, and possession of a weapon with an altered serial number.
