One Dead in Single-Vehicle Crash into Home in Frankford

FRANKFORD, DE – On the afternoon of Tuesday, Delaware State Police Troop 7 Collision Reconstruction Unit responded to a fatal crash in Frankford.

A 2018 Chevrolet Trax veered off the road on Dupont Boulevard and collided with a house. The 75-year-old female driver from Frankford was taken to a hospital, where she passed away later that evening.

Her identity is withheld pending family notification. The crash investigation is ongoing, and witnesses are asked to contact Senior Corporal R. Albert at 302-703-3266.
