MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA – A chef employed at Bar Lucca in Montgomery County was arrested in connection with a stabbing incident involving another staff member on Saturday, police reported.
The arrest occurred a block away from the restaurant in the late afternoon. Authorities recovered a knife at the scene. Whitemarsh Police Chief Christopher Ward confirmed the details of the incident and the subsequent arrest.
The victim of the stabbing was transported to Lankanau Hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening. According to Ward, charges are expected to be filed against the chef.
Brian Pieri, owner of Bar Lucca, stated the altercation was between two staff members. He expressed gratitude towards the Whitemarsh police for their handling of the situation. Further details regarding the circumstances of the altercation have not been disclosed.
