Woman Robbed Outside Wilmington Beauty Salon

WILMINGTON, DE – Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery at Philly Salon, 222 Philadelphia Pike, on Wednesday.

At 9:38 p.m., a white male suspect confronted an employee outside, demanding her belongings and threatening violence.

When she resisted, the suspect snatched her necklace, causing a fall, then took her purse and fled northeast on foot. The 36-year-old victim was unharmed.

Detectives from Troop 2 Criminal Investigations Unit are handling the case, seeking information from the public.
