Shooting Targets Home in Dover, Occupants Unharmed

DOVER, DE – Delaware State Police are actively investigating a shooting that took place in the Capitol Park neighborhood of Dover on Wednesday afternoon.

The incident occurred on November 22, 2023, at around 3:22 p.m. on the 100 block of N. Governors Boulevard. Responding to reports of gunfire, troopers found that a residence and two unoccupied vehicles had been hit. Multiple bullet casings were collected from the scene. Fortunately, the two adults and two children inside the residence were unharmed. Currently, there is no suspect information available.

Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Detectives continue their investigation. They urge anyone with information or who witnessed the event to contact Detective S. Ryan.
