Pedestrian Fatally Injured in Princeton Motor Vehicle Crash

PRINCETON, NJ – On Wednesday, at 9:56 a.m., a car incident occurred on Red Hill Road in Princeton.

Meliton Hernandez-Morales, a 61-year-old male from West New York, NJ, was struck and fatally injured by a vehicle.

Huimei Qiu, a 53-year-old driver from Princeton, NJ, was reversing a 2011 Lexus GX in a driveway when the accident occurred. Hernandez-Morales was pinned between the vehicle and a detached garage, resulting in fatal injuries. Qiu remained uninjured.

The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office Serious Collision Response Team is assisting the Princeton Police Department in the ongoing investigation.
