D.C. Police Searching for Fugitive Wanted in Deadly Shooting

WASHINGTON, DC – The Metropolitan Police Department is actively seeking a suspect connected to a fatal shooting in Southwest Washington, D.C., early Tuesday morning.

The incident occurred shortly before 4:30 a.m. on Dec. 26. Officers responded to a call in the 600 block of Maryland Avenue SW, where they discovered a man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries later that morning.

Tuesday afternoon, authorities released a surveillance image of a potential suspect. Details about the victim and suspect remain undisclosed at this time.
