TRENTON, NJ – Assemblywoman Beth Sawyer, representing Gloucester, has introduced a resolution in the New Jersey Assembly demanding Hamas’s surrender to cease the civilian bloodshed in Gaza. The resolution, titled AR204, comes as a counter to progressive calls for Israel to agree to a permanent ceasefire in the Middle East.
Sawyer’s resolution asserts that Hamas, recognized as a terrorist organization by many countries, including the United States, is responsible for the ongoing conflict and civilian casualties in Gaza.
